Adidas Originals

Just a nice ad I like... fashion-related of course!

Zdenka Imreczeova

Zdenka is definitely on my radar as one of the most talented designers in our country. She creates a grown-up wardrobe like high-waisted skirts, white shirts or classic black pants but she can also offer some very eccentric pieces for us who dare to wear something very unusual. These two dresses are from the future (collection).

The Garden Collection just landed at H&M Myslbek

Go and get your grown-up floral piece right now!

Selfridges selling online!

The dream department store in London just opened its e-shop this morning. It features all you can possibly wish for categories such as Womenswear, Beauty, Accessories but also Food and a pretty big selection for your boyfriend too. The cherry on top is this "Wish Room" where you can remind yourself how much fun it was to dress up your dolls. Enjoy! Let's just hope they will soon offer us the much needed "back view" on the items.

Fashion needs more people like the smart Tom Ford

Picture from
Interview not only about his new film (sadly enough it is not going to be launched in the Czech republic) but also about his feelings about women today and of course there is a lot of fashion involved.

Martina styled by Loli

Many thanks to Marta Santorova for visage but mostly to our stunning model Martina who could double for Linda Evangelista. Photo by Michal Skramusky, styling by me.

Romantic shoot in Prague

Here are some backstage pictures from my yesterday shoot. The location was beautifully furnished renaissance palace and perfectly matched the style of the outfits. The styling was daring if it comes to the shapes but in neutral colors to keep it soft.

Alex Nestor

I really like this guy and I find him (especially the bones) stunning :). I believe he will be a huge success, after all he already shot with Steven Klein who also discovered Alex in Argentina. He walked in the last McQueen's show in Milan where he is represented by 2morrow models.

Styling Eliska the Czech Miss

I styled my first shoot with a Czech photographer Michal Skramusky today. We shot Eliska Buckova (a former winner of the Miss competition currently working as a model) and I think the result is going to be pretty good. Visage by Camille. Video coming soon so stay tuned!

Spring! I can't wait!

This really makes me want to go to the beach...I also love the name of this beauty shoot "Shake Dreams From Your Hair" - it is the kind of feeling I will be looking for this spring. Here is a link for the whole story shot by Nicole Nodlant

I know these heels are ridiculous and not wearable but I can't get over them

Alexander McQueen heels (maybe this falls into some special category though I don't think you can call this heels anymore)
and this is the ad campaign with Raquel Zimmermann

Finally my most-read magazine features my most-admired fashion icon

Brittish ELLE is really one of my most reliable sources when it comes to inspiration and keeping up-to-date. In fact, I am a proud subscriber! Chloe appeared on the cover of the UK edition of Elle in March 2008 and collaborates with the magazine as a style advisor even though she is more likely to be known in the US where she stars in the tv series "Big Love." She looks better and better. this collection!

I find this video quite useful with all the comments about this spring key trends and their influence on our appearance.

Can't wait for March 18...Looks like Valentino but with an H&M price tag. It is organic and eco-friendly too so what else could we wish for?

Agyness Deyn in a break-up scene!

A short (about 13min) film-noir artwork starring the famous Manchester born model shows she can be very glamorous. Agy is usually the one that causes a stir by dressing in crazy creations and amongst her favorite are pieces from House of Holland but here she wears a gorgeous Zac Posen gown. She recently got attention of the fashion crowd while announcing she wants to quit modeling because of her boyfriend...Well, let's see if she shifts her career to acting.

3D fashion editorial shot in Shanghai!

photographed by Baldovino Barani

One of the first fashion shoots done in 3D is out in Archetype X magazine. The photographer is known for editorials with some morbid or weird themes such as the Foster Twins, which is creepy more than anything else. Let's see where this takes us in the future...

VERSUS brought back to life by Christopher Kane

For those of you who are falling for Christopher Kane! After the great success of the line he designed for Topshop (oh the shoes were just amazing) Donatella Versace asked him to revive the younger version of Versace and it is no surprise that his second collection for Versus is getting all the attention. I think it is well-deserved attention. (btw do not forget to look at the shoes)

McQueen Madness

I love a lot of fashion designers but there are a few I am obsessed with. Amongst the others: Christophe Decarnin (currently at Balmain), Marc Jacobs, Viktor&Rolf and Alexander McQueen so now I have one more reason to wear BLACK.
After Lee McQueen was found dead on February 11th almost every item with the Alexander McQueen signature got sold out...If you want to get a hold of some of his amazing work before it's all gone, take a look over at Net-a-Porter, which ships to the Czech republic.

Numero Magdalena from Greg Kadel Studios on Vimeo.

Hey everybody! Let's not jump so much into flowers this spring...I like the energy in this video and of course the perfect blackness.
